Refine your on-camera technique, deepen realism and adapt your craft for film and television.
Get a head start in the competitive world of screen acting.
This course is suitable for both newcomers and experienced actors who are ready to deepen their skills.

Based on the Meisner Technique and the Scott Sedita System, you will develop skills including cold reading, self-taping and American Sit-Com.
Our unique layered approach combines technique with story and character development. Each layer of character-building is developed step-by-step until you’re able to instinctively connect with your character and their journey. This will result in truthful, authentic acting that will instantly set you apart from others in auditions and on set.

For more than twenty years, The Actors Pulse has trained actors who are serious about developing real, usable craft, not just confidence, but technique that holds up under the camera.
Our Screen Acting training is designed for actors at different stages of their professional journey, including working performers refining their on-camera consistency and stage-trained actors adapting their skills for screen.
The focus is long-term development, not shortcuts.
This is disciplined, practical training that helps actors build repeatable processes for auditions, rehearsals and on-set performance. It supports confident, truthful work on camera across genres and formats.

This Technique Allows You To:
Using the principles of the Meisner Technique, we help you break down scenes to understand the story and character so you can deliver characters with integrity and conviction. We help you build a solid set of skills to boost your on-camera presence, inner life and confidence. Our screen classes are uniquely structured so you can learn to audition consistently well.
While Meisner classes focus on developing emotional truth and connection, Screen Acting applies those same principles to the technical demands of film and television. You’ll learn how to adapt your performance for the camera – refining expression, stillness and continuity, without losing the spontaneity that makes your work real.
Both streams complement each other; Meisner builds authenticity, Screen Acting refines delivery.
The Meisner Technique gives actors a foundation of truthful behaviour, the kind that draws audiences in on screen. When you stop “acting” and start responding truthfully in the moment, your work becomes natural, grounded and watchable. Screen Acting at The Actors Pulse integrates Meisner principles so your performances carry emotional depth and honesty, even in the smallest close-up.
