Lukas is a consummate screen actor who has starred in several short films and TV series throughout his career.
Whilst completing a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Film and English from the University of Sydney he trained for several years in the Meisner technique in Redfern, Sydney.
His first role was in the acclaimed short film, Kill Your Sons. The drama centres around 3 teens who brutally attack and rob a couple at a train underpass.
Lukas is best known for his role in New Zealand’s popular drama Shortland Street. For 3 years he played Finn Connelly, estranged son to main character and NZ icon, Chris Warner, on the long-running series.
Shortland Street was the fastest shot, single crewed TV show in the world, where one ‘take’ was commonplace, so it was essential to come prepared.
Upon returning to Australia Lukas landed the role of Jude on the highly acclaimed Frayed, an Australian and British television comedy-drama series on ABC TV and Sky UK. The series was later picked up by HBO Max in the US, and was created and written by comedian Sarah Kendall..
