With a collection of short film and television appearances to her name, Shannon McCauley is a talented Australian actress with a versatile repertoire.

Cast in 4 episodes of Janet King, Shannon played a journalist in the award-winning Australian drama series. Running from 2014 - 2017, the series follows Senior Prosecutor Janet King who returns from maternity leave to confront a high-profile murder and a conspiracy which will have shocking ramifications throughout the judicial system.

The series was nominated for a silver Logie for The Most Outstanding Drama Series, Best Music for a Television Series or Serial (Screen Music Awards) and Best Television Drama Series (Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards) among multiple other award nominations.

Shannon is also known for her work in Run Baby Run. The short action comedy follows a criminal couple who try to pull off a high-profile robbery - but when one partner tries to steal the glory for themselves, the whole plan is turned on its head and everything dominoes into complete chaos.

Her other film credits include The System, directed by Eddie Arya, in which she played the role of Detective Jones, and Sleeping In Blood City - a short crime tale of a hitman who breaks the most important rule of his profession.

In the short film Rosie she played the role of Rosie’s mum and Shannon also appeared in an episode of the mini-series Brock as the receptionist.
